Not Included: Access to the famous Playa Escondida is not included in this tour.

Access Restrictions:

National Park: Access to the Marietas Islands National Park is strictly limited to protect the ecosystem.

Confirmation of Availability: It is essential to review and confirm the access conditions to verify availability before booking.

Additional Costs:

Extra Fee: There is an additional fee of $650.00 MXN per person.

Payment Method: Payment of the extra fee must be made in cash, in Mexican pesos, on the day of the tour. This payment is made directly to the person in charge of securing the places in the National Park.

Reservation Policies:

No Cancellations: Once the tour is confirmed, it is not possible to cancel.

Requirements for Participants:

Age: Participants must be over 12 years old and under 59 years old.

Swimming Skills: It is essential to be a good swimmer to participate in this tour.

Important Note: The main Marietas Islands tour is open to all ages and abilities.

Safety: The use of a helmet and life jacket is mandatory during the tour.

Special Restrictions: Pregnant women are not allowed to participate.

Can you help arrange my travel visas?

Requirements for travel visas vary widely depending on your nationality and your destination. Although we are unable to arrange visas on your behalf we have provided links on our “Resources” page to websites that will help you determine if visas are required. If you do require a visa you can arrange them yourself or use the services of a travel agent or visa processing company.
Can I join a tour late or leave it early?

It's extremely difficult if not impossible to join a tour after it has begun. It is possible to leave a tour early however you will be responsible for your own arrangements from the moment you decide to leave the tour. You would also be responsible for all costs associated with joining a tour late or leaving one early. If you feel this may be necessary please consult a G Adventures Specialist before you book your adventure.
